Mission statement

From my own experience as the mother of a child with ADHD and Dyslexia, I know how hard it can be to get the support you need.

I also know how difficult it is for many families affected by learning and behavioural differences to find the money to pay for that support.

This is why I launched the Nutritious Minds Trust.

Our mission is to raise awareness, and funding, to bring positive and meaningful change to the lives of children and individuals with learning and behavioural differences. The Trust will raise awareness of mental-health conditions, helping to remove stigma and misunderstanding. Our ultimate goal is to create a paradigm shift in the way we treat those with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and related conditions.

The Aims of Nutritious Minds
  • To provide educational, nutritional, and behavioural support and services to low-income families and young people facing finanicial hardship or adversity
  • To raise awareness of “invisible” mental-health conditions
  • To implement change and to advocate for equality in education and the workplace
  • To help children and adolescents with learning and behaviour differences reach their highest potential, develop confidence and, access much needed support.

In relation to support specifically related to diagnostic evaluations, NMT set up two Nutritious Minds Awards to cover the costs of private assessments to low income families but we rely utterly on your donations to be able to provide this service. So, please if you have been impacted by a learning or behaviour difference and are in a priviledged position to help others, be kind and, please make a donation today! Your input will help change lives.
